The infinite in everything
Saturday, 7 March 2026It seems like lots of people have trouble with the infinite idea.
But it’s really simple.
Understanding her naturally hinges on your point of view.
Imagine you are infinite. Imagine you are vast like outer space. Imagine that it’s just never-ending-ly vast. When you look into the inky black of space there seems to be no end to it.
Actually, it’s not that hard to do.
Isn’t it weird that you can experience the infinite so easily? Hmm… I think you’re on to something.
So now let’s say you are invite and you draw a line in this infinity, like a laser beam, or, like a fluoresce tube. Can you feel that even though the tube has a top and bottom and sides. Actually it is infinite! You could zoom into it forever and zoom out forever. It’s just infinite. Because you are.
Now, let’s try the same thing from the perspective of being a finite body. So you’re a little astronaut in space. And you make a florescence tube. Now what? There is no sense of the infinite right?
The point is to illustrate that you can have separated forms, and still be infinite.
The separated forms are like an “optical illusion” in the infinite. Abraham Hicks calls it the “leading edge of thought”. Other people have called it “the playground of the Gods”.
Time to realise what you are.
Light and laughter.
